Strategy on How much to Buy a Momentum Stock

 Many members DM me when stock gives Bo, to buy now or wait for CLB (closing basis). How much to buy.

"Will try to give how I follow in momentum calls

There is no correct strategy for this. Some buy on BO some on retest. No one knows exactly which one is correct. Our aim should be to minimize loss in case if false BO. In any strategy u can miss opportunity. What we can do is fix one strategy and don't change that. 👇🏾

What I do

When the stock gives BO will wait for 10 to15 minutes and if stays above BO buy 25%. And wait for day end at 3.15pm and if still it is above BO  point then buy again 25%.  

By doing this there will be no major loss on false BO as u have taken 25% position. And in case of upwards u will not miss

opportunity.

As u know I average on upwards (pyramid).  On 2nd buying point I add another 30%. 

And on 3rd buying point add another 20%

 2nd and 3rd buying should be added on CLB (closing basis 3.15pm) only.

I am not believer of targets. 

According to me stop-loss is target.

If the stock moves up the stop-loss will also change every week.

I Can give resistance levels on the basis of old data. If the stock is moving ATH and in new territory then it is difficult to give targets. Partial profit booking or  moving stop-loss is the only way we can do.

Can ask anytime for stop-loss.
